What Is Ramadan Mubarak?
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Muslim year. This is a festival when Muslims fast for a whole day from Dawn to Sunset. Ramadan is also known as Ramzan.It is an Arabic word meaning "Burning heat" as it is in the period of high environmental temperature in that area.
It is said that during this month Quran (Holy book of Islam)was first introduced to the prophet Muhammad by Allah (God of Muslims).

Ramadan is 9th month of the Muslim calendar year. This year Ramadan is in the First half of May 2019 and the first half of the June 2019.

What is Ramadan Fasting and Rules for Fasting?
In the month of Ramadan, adult Muslims keep fast during a whole day from dawn to sunset which is known as Ramadan fasting. The act of fasting is said to cleanse the soul by freeing it from daily activities and abolish of past sins.Fasting is mandatory for adult Muslims, but there are some exceptions also. People who are suffering from illness, who are diabetic, who is traveling, pregnant women are generally excluded.
Ramadan is seen as a time of spiritual reflection, improvement and increased devotion and worship.
Fasting teaches people how to be more self-disciplined and have empathy for those less fortunate.
The meal took before dawn (Before the fast starts) is called the suhur, while the meal at sunset (after the fast) is called as iftar.
